It is Tuxedo Season

I began breeding in 2019. Admittingly, I knew absolutely nothing about breeding except that I was in love with Poodles. Poodles are quite intelligent and for me made the perfect pet. As an allergy sufferer, their hypoallergenic coat allowed me to have a dog in the house. After educating myself and working alongside an experienced breeder, I was ready to start my program. My first breed was with a Poodle and Labradoodle. Though I loved the look of the Labradoodle, I found myself in love with the blond/red coloring of a Goldendoodle. The sweet nature of a Golden Retriever mixed with the intellect and hypoallergenic features of a Poodle were my perfect mix. The best compliment for a breeder is when another breeder values your pups. I fell in love with the look of the tuxedo Goldendoodles. However, the genetics of my dam and sire did not produce the look of the tuxedo. A tuxedo goldendoodle generally has a white triangle on the forehead, a white chest and white socks (feet). So, I set out to find the perfect doods to create the first litter of The Dood House tuxedo mini doods. First, I reached out to one of my best breeder friends who had the perfect mama for my program. Penny Layne, a parti doodle complete with a white coat and brown spots became our first mini dood. Next, I reached back out to my best breeder friend for the perfect red boy. That's when we acquired the most handsome red boy-Peter Parker (Parker). Both pups were genetic tested and cleared. Parker is a 10/10 red intensity doodle. Two years later, Parker and Penny gifted us with the most beautiful mini Tuxedo Goldendoodles I have ever seen. As a breeder, patience is a necessity. Luckily, I I have a village of breeder friends and the most awesome families. Our first litter was reserved within one week of the puppies birth. Some of our families have been waiting six months on these doods. We have opened our waitlist for winter 2024 (2 spots left) and spring 2025.
